Application steps
- Register an account on MDEC's official DE Rantau portal
- Upload your passport, CV, financial proof, remote-work contract, and a police clearance letter
- Pay the fee online (MYR 1,000 for the main applicant) and go through MDEC's background review
- Download the approval letter once cleared and enter Malaysia within 6 months
- Complete Pass Endorsement at an immigration office and register for tax with LHDN
