NexCircle Open Data
Structured, date-verified data on coliving, work spaces, cities, and visa regimes across Taiwan, Japan, and Korea, open for citation or download by research institutions, government bodies, and potential partners.
Methodology
Every entry carries a verification date (`verifiedAt`); anything unrefreshed for six months is flagged stale on the site, and all pricing/policy info carries a disclaimer to check official sources. City-level scoring uses NexCircle's own Fit Score framework, detailed on the city & coliving comparison page。
Adaptive reuse / regional revitalization cases
14 coliving/work programs in this dataset explicitly document being built inside a reused vacant building (a converted school, old house, or former military site, for example) or a regional-revitalization context. This is a count drawn from existing description text; independently measured impact, such as carbon or resource savings, hasn't been studied yet, and we'd welcome it as a joint research topic.
Tier 1: Public citation
Page content, methodology, and statistics are free to cite. Standard format:
Tier 2: Raw data download
Raw CSV/JSON requires registering below first. This is a lightweight data-use notice, not a paywall: free for institutional/research use, commercial use negotiated separately, and we'd appreciate a note (and credit where relevant) when you publish.
Grant-funded research collaboration
If your research touches digital-nomad migration, adaptive reuse, or regional revitalization, or you're applying for a grant that could list NexCircle as a data/industry partner, pick "want to discuss an early partnership" above and tell us more.
Living costs, coliving prices, and policy details are research estimates; verify current figures with official sources and providers.
