A modern tea bar from Dadaocheng's century-old Wang Tea, serving oolong and oriental beauty as sparkling drinks, nitro tea, and tea beer
Wangtea Lab is at 24, Lane 64, Chongqing North Road Section 2 in Datong District. Next door at No. 26 is the original Wang Tea shop founded in 1890, about 10 minutes on foot from Zhongshan MRT.
The fifth generation turns traditional teas into sparkling drinks, nitro tea, and tea beer, so it's a good pick if you want tea instead of coffee.
Hours are noon to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Seating is limited, so it suits a drink and some email between tasks more than a full day. If you're exploring Dadaocheng, the tea shop and roasting house next door are worth a look.
