Qiwen Art Room is at 32 Nanyang Street, about a 5-minute walk from Taipei Main Station. It is set up for working: outside food is allowed, WiFi is provided, and you can rent an external monitor.
The 1F cafe serves coffee, tea, and meals. One drink gets you 90 minutes, and each extra item adds another 90, which suits a short stop or a quick meeting.
The 2F workspace is charged by the hour and split into a lounge where quiet conversation is fine and a focus zone. Seating includes standing desks, wall-facing solo seats, high tables, and window seats, and every seat has a power outlet.
Time passes include drinks and snacks from the self-serve bar. Time-pass guests also get herbal tea free and desserts at an add-on price; bring your pass and an empty cup downstairs to order.
The focus zone is silent: no talking, no mechanical keyboards, and no outside food, only items from the self-serve bar. Pick the lounge if you want to eat while you work.
Upstairs there is a high-ceiling living room on 3F and a small loft on 4F, both suited to small groups. Outside food is allowed on 3F but not on 4F.
There is also an online meeting booth for calls and video meetings.
From Monday to Saturday, a night-owl rate starts at 7 p.m.: one entry fee covers you until 1 a.m. Seats cannot be reserved for night-owl hours.
The event calendar is regular. There is a five-language exchange every Monday and a community lunch every Thursday, plus a weekly reading meetup and monthly drawing meetups and board game nights.
Three rooms can be booked privately: a piano and art room, an indoor camping room, and a classic meeting room, used for gatherings, talks, and team events.
