Hualien Cloud Hub

A county-run cohort program in a repurposed highway-bureau building, with MOUs already signed with nomad communities in Fukuoka and Seoul.

ℹ️ This program runs cohort-based intakes, not open booking. Check the organizer's own announcements for current openings and timing.

Hualien County Government built its "Nomad Hualien" program around the Cloud Hub, a repurposed highway-bureau building whose second floor now houses dedicated coliving and co-creation space, with quarterly cohort intakes. Between 2024 and 2025 an earthquake and typhoons meant part of the space was temporarily lent to displaced county staff, but it returned fully to nomad use in July 2025. The second cohort has already been selected, with participants from Canada, the US, the Philippines, Chile, Vietnam, and Greece. The Cloud Hub has also signed letters of intent with Fukuoka's largest expat community, Manabu Community, and Seoul's nomad platform Hoppers.
