Incheon Summer Workation
Applications closed July 8, 2026 — a two-week pop-up pairing a century-old historic district with a resort island, 400,000 KRW subsidy for 10+ nights.
Run jointly by Incheon Metropolitan City, the Incheon Creative Economy Innovation Center, and community brands Hoppers and Digital Nomads Korea (DNK), this pop-up combined Jung-gu's century-old Gaehangjang heritage district with the resort island of Yeongjongdo, running July 12-26, 2026. During the day, participants worked from a shared office with high-speed internet and business facilities; off hours, organizers led historical walking tours of Gaehangjang, beach time on Yeongjongdo, K-BBQ, and local food experiences. Applications closed July 8; we keep this page as a reference case for Incheon's style of short, high-subsidy, sharply themed pop-up programs.
